Enforcement Of New Labour Codes

The Government of India has enforced the Four Labour codes w.e.f. 21 November 2025. The four labour codes being Code on Wages 2019, Industrial Relations Code 2020, Occupational Safety, Health Working Conditions Code 2020, and Social Security Code 2020.

These labour codes will replace the earlier 29 labour laws and bring about transformational change for better wages, safety, social security and enhanced welfare for India's workforce.
