Mohammad Abu Rashed

Mr. Rashed is a widely recognized global expert on Public Policy with specialization in Public Private Partnership (PPP). He has extensive experience developing global and country level policies, regulations and guidelines for various governments and multilateral agencies. Rashed is one of the Global PPP Experts for United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and was the Project Editor and work stream leader for development of the UNECE PPP health standard.

Rashed acted as senior advisor on PPP at the Office of the Honorable Prime Minister in Bangladesh (PPP Authority) and the Administrative Office of the Honorable President in Afghanistan (PPP Directorate). He also worked at senior level positions for various government agencies, development organizations and multinational agencies with focus on private sector development.

He actively promoted different multilateral partner's driven infrastructure development programs including IPFF and PSDSP of the World Bank and SAIF of IFC. He also provided extensive support to Asian Development Bank for promoting Higher Education through PPP.
